So my little friend Lex is obsessed with Lemonade Mouth. Do you know what that is? Yea me neither. Apparently it’s a Disney movie/band (watch out it has a really loud autoplay “music” track). Any ways she’s crazed about it. And you know me with my Potter obsession, I totally support crazy fandom all the way. The only thing is that her dad couldn’t find a Lemonade Mouth backpack anywhere. So he asked if I could add a stencil or something if he picked up a plain backpack.
I decided that an iron-on patch would be a lot more feasible route given the fabric of the pack and just the complexity of the logo.
I had lots of fun making the backpack (just printed images onto iron on fabric, ironed and topstitched around). I also made a not the best quality but still fun little pouch and a little iron-on patch that she can put on whatever she wants.
It was a big hit, there was screaming and rolling around in excitement and I received a totally gleeful thank you phone call. Totally fun!

Hi Marissa,
So excited to find this post. My daughter just found Lemonade Mouth and is completely addicted. This is what she wants from Santa and after searching forever, of course couldn’t find anything. How to tell her that Santa couldn’t get her gift. Thank you so much for this post. I have nooooo experience with this sort of craft so any additional advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Obviously need a color printer. Any particular patch brand that you recommend and I assume I can get it at Joannes? Sorry, I’m not much of a crafter, very much a novice. Thanks for any advice you can give and for doing this!!!!! yay!!!!! Nina
