Bright and early I’ll be heading off to SNAP! I hope to be instagramming up a storm so make sure to check in at @raegunramblings if you want to see the blogger craziness. I’ll make sure to report back here too.
But before I go I wanted to share a super quick and delicious appetizer I made up last weekend that I may have kind of eaten for brunch. I am a huge Brie lover and a huge puff pastry lover so I have no idea how I waited so long to do this but never mind that. It’s got the same great flavor that you see with the holiday version but way less work. Just go make some it’s super easy and delicious. Also it’s perfect for customizing to what is in your fridge.
Deconstructed Baked Brie
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 1/4 wheel Brie
- 3-5 TBS brown sugar
- cinnamon to taste
- 1/4 C dried cranberries
You can make the treat with just brie and puff pastry but my favorite was to sprinkle brown sugar on the puff pastry and then add some dried cranberries and cinnamon on top of the brie. It would even be good with nuts and apples. Then you just bake it at 400 F for 20-25 minutes until it’s golden brown.
Enjoy!

Can I make a slight confession? I have only had Brie once in my life and never baked. We should have a brie party. :)
