I’m a list maker and a reflector so I absolutely love this time of year where you look back on things and set goals for the future. This year was my first full year of putting a lot into this blog and I loved it! It was fun to go through my stats and see which posts got the most attention. Here are my top 12 tutorials and reicpes of 2013!
My 20 Minute Maxi Skirt Tutorial that I did as a part of Sew Country Chick’s Summer Trends series was by far my most popular post of the year. I totally get it. Maxi skirts are cute and easy to wear and when they are that simple to make yourself why not?
My Double Finger Print Necklace Tutorial was one of my favorite projects so I was excited to see it was a big hit on the blog and pinterest.
After making a slew of princess dresses for the nieces to wear Disneyland during our vacation this Summer I felt the bug to dress up and whipped up this such fast and easy to wear Snow White Shirt Tutorial.
I’m happy to see that you aren’t tired of my Harry Potter crafts since my love is still going strong. My Harry Potter Crafts Round Up was a big hit with the post for my Gryffindor Pajama Pants Tutorial also ranking up there.
I was honored to be invited to join in Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts Celebrate the Seasons series and my first holiday project for them was these fun Turkey Hair Clips that doubles as napkin rings.
In my constant attempt to get more veggies into our diet I made this quick and yummy alternative to normal mashed potatoes my Cauliflower Mash Recipe.
This one is totally thanks to my sister. I’ve tried to get her to do regular recipe contributions but until her schedule makes for more of that we’ll just have to settle for when I’m around to snatch pictures of her delicious creations. This awesome Biscuits recipe is no exception.
I love zucchini it’s one of my favorite vegetables and my friend Becky from Utah Sweet Savings told me that she subs noodles for zucchini so when I tried it with my normal lasagna recipe I was pleasantly surprised. This Zucchini Lasagna Recipe is yummy, healthy, freezable and fun for kids to help you make.
This is by far the most surprising tutorial on this list. My 10 Minute Infinity Scarf that I posted less than 2 weeks ago jumped right to the top getting more hits and pins than so many of my posts from earlier in the year.
This is the project that started my Iron-On Vinyl obsession. Except for holidays this Night Circus Pillow lives on my couch at all times. Love that book and still love this project!
I can’t get enough of princess dresses. They are one of my all time favorite things to make. I’ve been meaning to share my Princess Sleeve Tutorial and it seems like you guys were glad that I finally did!
I had been hoarding this awesome fish scale fabric for a long time so when T announced that she wanted a Mermaid party I thought that I’d make her a fun mermaid outfit! Mermaid Shirt Tutorial and Mermaid Pants Tutorial.
Thank you SO much for being a part of my life in 2013 I am super excited for 2014.
