Hello Rae Gun Ramblings Readers! I am Emily from The Benson Street. Growing up I think Harry Potter was one of the first big series I read. Now I am hooked. You can always find me reading a book. I knew I wanted to be in Gryffindor. So I am excited to share with you a fun and easy Gryffindor Harry Potter Inspired Bracelet today!
Supplies:
- red beads
- golden yellow beads
- elastic cord
- tape
- scissors
Cut a piece of elastic cord about 8 to 10 inches long. Tape down the end to a table.
To create the Gryffindor colored pattern I used four red beads followed by three yellow beads. I wanted them to look like thick stripes, but create any pattern you want in any of the house colors.
Jut string on the beads following the pattern. Having the end taped down it make it easier to bead.
Follow the pattern until the beads will go around the wrist. Don’t bead the entire cord.
Tie a tight knot at the end. Cut off excess elastic. Slip knot into one of the beads to hide it.
Wear your house colors with pride. I did actually take a very specific sorting quiz to find out which house I should be in. Luckily it was Gryffindor. The bracelet turned out to be perfect for me.
It looks great with my lovely red shirt to show my Harry Potter house pride with my bracelet.
Which house do you think you belong in?
