(Pork Costelleta -Cheesecake Factory Fake Out- w/asparagus and galric mashed potatoes)
For those of you are new to my blog I write these weekly plans to help me spend less (I kinda of love grocery shopping, yea I know I’m weird), to save time and to try and help us eat in more often. Also I love knowing what other people eat so I thought it would be fun to share. For a while I’ll be adding my plans for what greens I’ll be eating since one of my resolutions is to build a habit of introducing more green veggies into our diet. Maybe some day it’ll be so normal for us that I won’t have to mention them any more.
An okay week I think. Did some good cooking which felt good. I really do like cooking when I have time, and I’m not totally starving when I start and I can just enjoy the experience. So that was nice.
Also I want to use some of the Talapia I have in the freezer if any of you guys know of a good way to prepare that I’d love some direction.

When I make tilapia I just use milk and a bread crumb/lemon pepper/parmesean mix and just bake the coated fish in a shallow pan for 15 minutes. It’s easy and tastes good, with some steamed veg. My husband hates fish though so I never get to make it–boo!

My family snarfs up simple pan fried fish. Salt, pepper, dust with flour. Fry in a bit of oil for 2-3 min per side. I like a bit of lemon butter sauce (melted butter, lemon juice, a little parsley) to go on top.

I just had my first experience with talapia a few weeks ago. My husband made it for dinner and I loved it! He made two kinds one was kind of spicy and the other had a Parmesan breading. I will have to ask him how he made them.
