I think it has to be the best movie of the year. There is not a single thing I would change about Speed Racer. The colors and characters are the perfect and they way they integrate animation with acting wtih out making it weird is great. I usually hate animal movies but the monkey just kind of fit. It’s so worth it to see this movie in IMAX. A little long for a kids movie (the boy next to us got a little squirely) but it’s family friendly. I’d say it’s something like the new Willy Wonka with lots and lots of action. A lovely moral/message that isn’t presented in a corny way. I just loved it. Go watch it and try to watch it in IMAX seriously this is the type of movie that IMAX was made for.
