You know how I LOVE my book signings and author events, well my favorites have got to be the Pitch Dark Days Tours. So, I was crazy thrilled to find out that I get to be an official Dark Days blogger and reveal one of the books/author for this upcoming tour.
Not just that, it’s one of the books that I’ve been most looking forward to all year! Are you ready? I’m so excited to announce that Reboot and author Amy Tintera will be one of the books and authors this time around. Wahoo!!!! And here’s a fun note Amy sent over to help kick things off.
I was actually lucky enough to read an advanced copy of Reboot and I absolutely adored it. If like me you are a fan of kick-butt heroines, cute book boys, and some good solid dystopian like Divergent you should definitely add Reboot by Amy Tintera to your to-read list. If you haven’t heard of Reboot before now check out the synopsis below.
Five years ago, Wren Connolly was shot three times in the chest. After 178 minutes she came back as a Reboot: stronger, faster, able to heal, and less emotional. The longer Reboots are dead, the less human they are when they return. Wren 178 is the deadliest Reboot in the Republic of Texas. Now seventeen years old, she serves as a soldier for HARC (Human Advancement and Repopulation Corporation).
Wren’s favorite part of the job is training new Reboots, but her latest newbie is the worst she’s ever seen. As a 22, Callum Reyes is practically human. His reflexes are too slow, he’s always asking questions, and his ever-present smile is freaking her out. Yet there’s something about him she can’t ignore. When Callum refuses to follow an order, Wren is given one last chance to get him in line—or she’ll have to eliminate him. Wren has never disobeyed before and knows if she does, she’ll be eliminated, too. But she has also never felt as alive as she does around Callum.
The perfect soldier is done taking orders. (synopsis from goodreads)
Also be sure to tune into to Epic Read’s tea time twitter chat at 3:45pm EST for a recap of all the books, authors, and tour locations! I’ll be there, hope to see you there too (I’m @raegunramblings on twitter).
