Before we get to the link party I have an awesome giveaway for those of you who are in Utah (or who may be coming through this month). Last weekend my family went to Gardner Village’s Witch Fest and the Wasatch Front Farmers Market and it was awesome.
Throughout October they have the Village decked out for Halloween with some super fun family friendly activities. Also every Saturday they host the Wasatch Front Farmers Market that has delicious breakfast and all sorts of goodies to buy. The girls and I each made our own jump ropes which supported people with disabilities.
But the most fun was the Ride to a Witch. It was so stinking cute. After a short tracker ride we went through stations with a a handful of non-scary witches leading us through different activities. The girls had a blast. The Ride to the Witch took about 30 minutes which I think was a great deal.
So today I’m giving away two Ride to a Witch tickets. The winner must be able to actually attend the Witch Fest before October 27, 2012 i.e. live in Utah or be visiting the area this month. If you’re not in going to be in the area I would love you to share this with your Utah friends.
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Now on to the party, let’s see what you’ve been creating, cooking, eating, wearing, reading, all of it!
*if you don’t see the linky try refreshing*
Please Note: I will not be sending reminder emails about the party any longer. hopefully having my button, following, subscribing or something else can serve as your reminder.

What a fun post to read! Great pictures too. I don’t live in Utah, but I am interested in the kinds of activities the kids did on the “Ride to a Witch”.

I don’t really have a Halloween tradition… but I love being able to have a get together of all our friends and their kids and just enjoying all the costumes and the fun food you can make!

My favorite Halloween tradition is working with my kiddo on her Halloween costume, her sketches are always fantastic!
The Ride to the Witch would be good motivation for me to sew the last sleeve on her witch-vampire costume.

Halloween tradition when I was a child was to trick or treat and DUMP the candy out to sort when we got home. We had fireworks that night as well (in Canada).
As a parent–making chili for dinner and then having big mugs of hot chocolate afterwards.

Our favorite tradition was always the secret treats that went around the neighborhood. There is no greater thrill than knock and run as a kid. Your Gardner Village adventure looks great!
