Bloggers Against Drunk Drivers

I mentioned last year about my friend Kari from Newlyweds on a Budget and the horrible accident she was involved in while out running. In short a drunk drive hit her and left her for dead. Thankfully someone found her and she got the emergency surgeries that she needed. I am thrilled to report that Kari is doing well on her road to recovery. While she still suffers she is leaps and bounds from where doctors estimated she’d be at this time. You can read more about her story here.

But this week Kari is organizing an awareness week of sorts and asking all of us to take a stand against drunk driving. I hope you will hop over and visit Kari to read the many stories she has compiled over this next week and please don’t get behind the wheel if you’ve been drinking and do not let anyone else drive under the influence. It is just not worth it.
