I have always been drawn to cute shopping areas and Gardner Village in West Jordan, Utah is no exception. It’s one of my first favorite places I found after moving to Salt Lake. It’s one of those shopping areas that’s so cute just to wander around but also has fun unique items so you want to buy pretty much everything you see. I always take out of town friends I like it so much.
I was thrilled when Gardner Village teamed up with My Craft Channel to put on a Bloggers Night Out. It was SO much fun you don’t even know. We started off with some delicious appetizers from Archibald’s, fried green tomatoes, artichoke dip and fried avocados yum yes it’s just as delicious as it sounds, we had a blast visiting each store and in many getting to chat with the shop owners and receiving little goodies. One of our first stops was Highlite Photography where we took really fun mustache pictures.
It’s one of those places that you can just go for a break. It’s so pretty and quaint it’s like a mini vacation every time I go there. Whether you want stuff for the kiddos, home, or yourself they’ve got it with an extra helping of cuteness. Here are just some of the amazing items that caught my eye and my nose (Taste culinary boutique smelled absolutely amazing since they were in the middle of an Indian cooking class, yum!)
I’m not going to lie I do have a favorite shop… Down to Earth. It’s a furniture and home decor store. I may have bought a couch there, and a giant wall hanging thing, and some other awesome things. Do you see my totally dorky mirror picture? Yup I snuck it hopefully all those cooler bloggers didn’t see me do it ha!
After shopping we convined in The Gathering Place where they have events like weddings and other parties for some delicious dessert, giveaways and fun with Lucinda the witch. The whole evening was an absolute blast.
If you are in the area I highly recommend that you stop by for their Witch Fest that is going on right now. They go all out for Halloween. There are witch statues scattered all over, pumpkins and haystacks, and lots of fun activities to do with the kiddos. Be sure to check back on Tuesday when I’ll be giving away a gift certificate for some of the fun! I have been to their Witches Night Out which is so stinking fun. Imagine a bunch of ladies all dressed up like a variety of witches, music, shopping, dancing it’s so so fun!

so, i’m a no-reply blogger. this is why: instead of having 50 emails of “you have a new comment” and 30 or so emails that just say “thanks,” i turned mine off. i found that i would just get responses and no visits to my blog, my blog that i love and work on every day for hours.
you see, i have severe nerve damage and the less i click/type with my fingers, the better. instead, i don’t moderate my comments via email like you, and just view them on my Comments section. I also visit every single blog and respond to every single comment on the visitor’s page or email. i use a speech-to-text program, which i’m using now, to visit blogs. i hope you understand and hope you visit my blog. have a most wonderful weekend :)

Elle I totally understand that people like you have reasons for hiding their email I just know that many bloggers do like to respond by email like me and many new bloggers don’t know that that is an option. I actually don’t moderate my blog posts but I do like to see them in my email and many times I’ll click through to visit the blogs. I just always feel weird when they ask me a questions and I’m not sure where I’m supposed to leave the answer to a sewing question on their post about making a casserole? But I totally respect that different people have different preferences and everyone should do what works for them.
