Janelle requested the recipe after I posted the picture in one of my What’s for Dinner posts last week. As always feel free to ask me to post a recipe if you see a picture of something I post. This one is so easy and the basic sauce is a friend winning Alfredo recipe. I crave it every couple of days. I bet it would work with half and half as well.
Sauce:
1/8 C butter
1/2 tsp garlic
1/2 C cream
1/2-3/4 C shredded Parmesan
salt and pepper to taste
Bring to boil reduce heat stir till cheese is melted
add fresh basil
1 chicken breast cooked (this was a lot you can definitely use less)
chopped and half a can artichokes chopped
4 ounces cooked pasta (my favorite homemade pasta recipe)
Cook pasta, drain and set aside. Heat chicken and artichokes (I do it in the pasta pot). Add sauce and pasta and toss (add more cream or reserved pasta water if you want it saucier)
(makes 2 large servings and can easily be multiplied)

mmm! I’m not big on alfredo but I think I’d like this. It doesn’t seem very heavy like most alfredo dishes. And I love artichokes!

Oh I love artichokes and pasta. It’s always on the list when we go out for dinner but haven’t tried it at home. Now it’s on my list! Found you from 33 Shades of Green and am a new follower. Would love for you to follow me back at thefarmgirlrecipes.blogspot.com. Thanks!
