There’s just something so sweet about a Father’s Day Printable filled out with little hands. Give it to dad or grandpa on it’s own or pair it with a bigger gift.
I made a few versions of this cute Daddy questionnaire since we plan on giving them to the grandpas as well. We tend to do pretty low key Father’s days around here. Usually we’ll make some BBQ ribs or like this year we plan on doing corned beef in the crock pot since it’s my dad’s absolute favorite.
We give the dads cards, maybe a small gift like a DIY snack or trinket box with baby’s face on it, a fun shirt, or some Chex mix, but it’s more about the time together.
That being said I love these little father’s day fill in the blank printable interviews that can be kept through the years to see the different ways the kids think about dad and grandpa. It’s SO hard for me to resist correcting the little guys as they do stuff like this but I really think that that is part of the charm.
I mean why Teddy is writing his numbers and d’s backwards all of a sudden after a year of proper writing who knows. But I’ll leave the letter formation correction to the fun Reading and Writing program I found for him and maybe some Summer bridge workbooks lol. For now we’ll embrace the imperfection.
I have made a version for “Dad”, “Papa”, “Grandpa” and then also a blank one. Whether you use another name for your dad or grandfather, or you want to to use this form for another father figure, say an step-dad, uncle, or family friend, hopefully that gives you lots of options to work with.
