Yeah I’ve been super consistent with my cardio and my weight has consistently gone down. Just a pound or less even a week but still down. Before I got married I lost a bunch of weight by working out in the gym 2 hours a day and eating soup or salad for most of my meal. And that was like 1 cup of soup and one small side salad. But I have to say this way feels much more real. It’s nothing drastic. I don’t feel deprived or like I’m doing an insane amount of exercise. Just solid on my strength training and getting in 4 days of cardio usually 40 to 60 minutes and eating right. And seriously 1600 calories for someone who is trying to lose weight is actually a lot. I’m super happy with the track I’m on. 10 more pounds to go!

Ok, I’ve got to ask, how can you manage to read while doing cardio?
marissa says
for the reading and cardio I’m not allowed to run (I’ve got a screwed up ankle) so I sit on a bike mostly and read I try to keep my heartrate above 130 so I mostly do higher intensity than bouncing fast peddling and my book balances on the handle bar with my hands holding it open and kinda balancing on the handle bars too (I’ve even figured out how to read while taking my heartrate haha) when I do walk I up the incline and I can only walk at like a 3.5 max while reading faster than that I can’t control the book but I prop it up on the stand and I walk while my hands are pushing on the book holding it back. I hope that made sense. But I can still get my heartrate to 140-150 so I figure it works
