A couple weeks ago an around the corner neighbor whom I hadn’t met knocked on my door to ask if I wanted to learn how to make grape juice with all the grapes that she could see were growing on my fence. And how could I turn that down! I’m telling you I was instantly hooked. I had no idea how grape juice was made and my goodness fresh juice is amazingly delicious. If you’ve ever had that fresh pressed apple cider it was like that but grapes and no fake-o grape taste.
Since I don’t have my own steam juicer I was absolutely thrilled when CSN stores asked if I wanted to do another review. CSN stores is a website that combines over 200 stores. They have all kinds of stuff from an amazing collection of cookware, toys for the kiddos, extra tall bar stools and would you believe it steam juicers -these are not the easiest to find. I have had great experiences with CSN stores and I highly recommend the website. They’ve got competitive prices, really great customer service (that I’ve tested out), and a really great selection. Anyways I am so so excited to get the juicer.
Here are a few picks from my juicing lesson.
T was actually really helpful in sorting the grapes from the leaves and sticks.
L was not so helpful. In fact I had to remove her from that job since she kept on putting the undesirable bits in the bowl. But then again she is only two.
Here is my neighbor’s juicer doing magic on my grapes. Seriously it’s so cool. I’ll describe the process when I get my own and when I post that review. Yeah I’m so excited.
I’ve never really been a fan of grape juice but seriously this stuff is it’s own amazing thing. T drank tons, she loved it so so much. Oh boy I can’t wait. And if you have a chance go wander around CSN stores.
