So I finally tried my hand at making liege waffles I used this recipe from I’m Topsy Turvy. They were yummy for sure but they are definitely the time investment. And it’s not like they are really breakfast food because they are crazy sweet which I know so part of me just wonders if for all the time and expensive ingredients if I’d almost rather eat cheesecake. I kind of think I do. Except for the fact that supposedly you can freeze the individual balls of waffle dough. I’ll see how good the frozen ones are since I did freeze some of the dough and even though you’re supposed to be able to freeze cheesecake I’ve never thought that they were as good after being frozen. My sister on the other hand thinks they were totally worth the investment, although this time it was MY investment ;)
