Love

I can’t say how much I adore my new “not a plastic bag bags”. The black one was fashioned after the regular old super market’s plastic bag but I wanted something a little bigger after I tested it out so I’ve made some adustments and love my long handled taller blue one. I’ve put two sizes in my shop if you want one of your own, but I know I really need to get some better pictures, especially of how wonderfully small they fold up (which was my main point in making them). I love the thin water resistant fabric and the touch of handmade personality that shines through in the trim. Obvioulsy they are a totally functional creation but hey I really wanted them to be beautiful too. It’s so fun to pull the blue one out at the market and use the black one to carry my lunch to campus in. Hopefully I’ll have some time to make myself a few more though because there have already been times this week when both bags have been full and I’ve been wanting another one (or two)

And speaking of love, look in the black bag. I found loads of new beautiful fabrics this week. Only half of them are in the picture. I can’t wait to get them in my shop, they are some of my favorites ever.
