Just in time for the holidays I wanted to share one of my favorite go to cookie recipes. I baked a batch for my students today and they told me “we love you” so I’d say they were a hit. Anyways I’ve taken them to a number of get-togethers and people usually say nice things (and I don’t think it’s just a politeness thing). Anyways here’s the recipe
1 C butter softened
3/4 C sugar
3/4 C brown sugar
2 1/2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 C milk chocolate chips
1 C white chocolate chips
1 C fresh cranberries (or 1/2 C dried)
Cream butter and sugar. Add the flour and baking soda. Mix in eggs and vanilla. After those are well combined add the chocolate and cranberries.
Bake at 375 F 8-10 minutes (I have on my card 8-10 but last night I baked all batches to 12 minutes).
This made a good amount, lets see… 5 dozen cookies. eat it
