Oh man I have spent the last 3 days in bed and on the potty it’s been AWFUL. Ugg. I’m guessing it was just some extreme flu of some sort but I really have been totally out of commission. I was super bummed to have missed The Host movie outing with the book club booo. But I’m grateful to be awake and in the land of the living now. I’m still totally exhausted (I should probably get some food in my body) so I’m just jumping straight to the party. Sorry about the delay.

Look at me I actually have an outfit picture. Not going to lie I have been wearing kinda frumpalump lazy clothes. I’ve been meh so I need to get back on the getting dressed bandwagon. Plus it’s warming up so that is just extra motivation since I’m SO tired of jeans.

Before we jump to the party I’ve got a few big things going on that I would like you to know about.

First one of my goals is to connect more with my online friends. I’ve decided to hold an “About Me” party once a month for all of us to share a bit more about ourselves so we can get to know each other better. Each month will have a prompt and you can post your about me post any time that month in any form you want, bullet points, story, related craft or project, whatever works for you. To make it easy, and because I need motivation to work on my page, this first month we’re just going to link up our “About Me” pages. The party will be the last Saturday of the month.

Second, since there are so many amazing YA books becoming movies this year I decided it would be fun to do a book club (both online and in person). I’ve got a survey if you are interested in learning more.

Finally, I am giving away a fun coupon/money holder along with Dave Ramsey’s best selling Total Money Makeover. I know what a blessing getting out of debt and getting control of our finances has been for us so I wanted to spread the love.

If you’re here for the party you’re in the right place! I just wanted to let those of you who wanted to buy costumes from me know that I’ve extended the Halloween order cut off to this Friday (10/5) and after that the costumes will disappear from my shop to avoid confusion until after Halloween.

I was a slacker and the only shot of what I wore last week was this picture that I took for a post that is actually relevant to many of YOU. Every week I get lovely comments from so many of you but I’m unable to reply because of your commenting settings. What have I been up to? Well I bought myself a new google nexus and with my new found connectivity I have rediscovered all my social media accounts and finally opened up an Instragram account. I’m getting better with the whole facebook thing and I’d love you to connect with all of you on them too. I also hope be sharing more of my link party favorites on  twitter and I’ve already been pinning many I love on pinterest too. I have been posting different things on the different venues since they all seem to be good for different activities. I’m having a blast.

I was sick most of last week so I didn’t really feel like getting dress/taking pictures. But thankfully I’m feeling a lot better.
