There were SO many fun things last week. I literally had something every single day. Some times multiple things a day and somehow I still got a bunch of work done. It was definitely a good week.
One of my favorite things was the awesome blogger meet-up put up by Snap and Ikea (yeah you read that right). Did you know they have biscuits and gravy there for breakfast it was so tasty and like the rest of the store super affordable. I’ll be sharing more about that later.
Yesterday one of my husband’s bands, Rotten Musicians, that I do back ups and dance like a maniac for had a really fun show (we played in a hut) and then afterwards we hung out for a super long time popping from place to place and finally ending up at Denny’s until 2 in the morning. There was something perfectly Summer-y about it all. It was like the good old times in college but with the perks of being a real adult.
Then today my family and I started getting things ready for little L’s birthday party. My sister and I have decreed it to be a Yellow Submarine Beatles Birthday Bash. I made her perfectly mod dress and Uncle drew the submarine and then my mom, nieces and I painted it. It’s drying as I type and I think it turned out super cute! You bet I’ll be sharing tons of pictures of all of those when they are done.
