Hopefully only two more weeks until we move. The more we eat the less to move right? I can’t wait to get all my cooking stuff out of storage, make some bread and freely buy groceries.
For those of you are new to my blog I write these weekly plans to help me spend less (I kinda of love grocery shopping, yea I know I’m weird), to save time and to try and help us eat in more often. Also I love knowing what other people eat so I thought it would be fun to share. For a while I’ll be adding my plans for what greens I’ll be eating since one of my resolutions is to build a habit of introducing more green veggies into our diet. Maybe some day it’ll be so normal for us that I won’t have to mention them any more.
Day | Main Meal | Goals (Veggies, Whole Grain, Fish) |
Sunday | Pasticcio |
|
Monday | Fancy Ramen | |
Tuesday | Chicken Panang Curry with Brown rice
Wednesday | Dinner w/hubby’s work clients and bingo :)
Thursday | BBQ Chicken and Roasted Potatoes w/green beans
Friday | Jalepeno Mac and Cheese w/apple sausage |
|
Saturday | Corn Chowder and grilled cheese |

I’ve got a book called The Dinner Doctor that has a section on “15 Ways to Doctor a Deli Roast Chicken.” Some are obvious like simple chicken salad, chicken on salad, chicken salad in wraps, or tacos. There are some yummy hot open-faced sandwich ideas like with bacon, tomato, and hot cheese sauce. Top it with sautéed mushrooms. Put on hot pasta with tapenade or pesto. Mix with prepared curry sauce and serve with rice. Hope this helps!

I am sitting here reading your blog and now I am really hungry. Maybe I should just go to bed and not eat. Looks like you are going to have a yummy week.

My friend served her family pancakes and greenbeans one night because she was trying to get rid of everything before a move, so you are not alone. Thank you for the encouragement on my blog to try ESTY. I am so excited to have found your blog, you are very talented, I wish my girls were small enough to were your ruffle bloomers. I am now wanting on the how to for the shirt I love it. I will be stalking/following you.
Thanks for the inspirations and encouragement as I get further into the process I may email with questions.
